Leadership
The Reverend Jennie Talley served as Priest-in-Charge at Trinity Episcopal Church in New Rochelle until her retirement on September 28, 2025. During her time at Trinity, she brought compassionate leadership, thoughtful preaching, and a deep commitment to spiritual and community life. Before joining Trinity, she served at St. John’s Wilmot Episcopal Church in New Rochelle, where she was known for revitalizing worship, fostering intergenerational connections, and expanding outreach efforts.
Reverend Talley has been a dedicated pastor and teacher, blending tradition with relevance in her ministry. She is passionate about creating inclusive spaces where people can explore faith, find belonging, and engage in service. Whether in the pulpit, around the altar, or at community events, she has brought warmth, curiosity, and a strong pastoral presence to all she does.
In addition to parish ministry, Rev. Talley has been involved in broader diocesan initiatives and interfaith collaborations, always with a heart for justice, hospitality, and the transforming power of God’s love.
Canon Deacon Hyacinth Lee serves as the deacon at Trinity Episcopal Church, where she brings deep faith, compassion, and a strong sense of justice to her ministry. As a vocational deacon, she is called to connect the church with the needs of the world—helping the people of Trinity live out their faith through service, outreach, and advocacy.
Canon Lee has served faithfully in the Episcopal Diocese of New York for many years and was honored with the title of Canon by the Rt. Reverend Matthew Heyd, Diocesan Bishop in recognition of her outstanding ministry and leadership. Her work often focuses on uplifting the voices of the marginalized and guiding the church in its mission to serve “the least of these” with dignity and love.
Beyond her parish work, Canon Lee partners with diocesan ministries, ecumenical groups, and community organizations, always seeking to strengthen connections between the church and the wider world. Her ministry is marked by a spirit of encouragement and reconciliation, reminding all she meets that God’s love is both boundless and transformative.
